To meet the growing demand for ultra-large wind turbines, Sungrow has launched its first 1800V wind power converters — now officially in mass production. Recently, the first 1800V/10MW units were successfully shipped, marking a new chapter in voltage upgrades for wind power systems.
Sungrow’s 1800V converter marks a key step toward next-generation wind power, offering higher efficiency, better reliability, and scalable potential for 10–15MW onshore and 15MW+ offshore turbines. It also lays the technical foundation for future applications in deep-sea wind, hybrid systems, and green hydrogen.
